ABOUT ME
Daughter, wife, mum, granny, retired professional transcriber and typist. Dog, animal, cinema, musical theatre lover. I like to knit, cross stitch, read, swim, jog, walk the fells, dance and sing! I hate injustice. ♥ ♪♫
For 22 years, until I retired in 2015, I was a professional self-employed transcriber. I worked from my home office from 1993, providing audio and digital transcription services for academic research projects within universities, market research focus and group interviews, conferences, consultancies, film and television production companies, entrepreneurs, legal companies and professionals, including transcripts for the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE). I was the sole third party typist for an Immigration Judge since January 2001 until he retired in 2014.
All transcription and typing was carried out personally by myself to the highest standards, in the strictest of confidence and tailored to the specific requirements of each client with turnaround times being dependent on my schedule.
