A little cross stitch helps the concentration.

Angela must have sent some cross stitch thoughts my way yesterday. After a long day transcribing, my concentration was shot to bits and I felt a great need to clear my mind, so reached for the sewing and added a few stitches to my work.  It was amazing - ten minutes later I felt ready to take on the world again.

I will have to get cracking if I want to finish it in this lifetime, especially bearing in mind that I have another 3 panels to complete. I am planning to use the cross stitch design to make into a cushion for my lovely daughter who is mad about butterflies. Don't give up on me Chloë Jade, I'll get there eventually!

  1. That looks lovely - go on, frighten my eyes by telling me what the thread count of that fabric is.

  2. Wow I wished I stitched as fast as you. Beautiful work and you claim to be a novice.
